Electronics Manufacturing Technician
Talascend is currently seeking an Electronics Manufacturing Technician for a contract opportunity with our client in Phoenix, Arizona.
Overview
The role involves operating production equipment and assembling clinical and commercial electronic products. The technician will follow blueprints, guidelines, and diagrams to ensure product specifications and tolerances are met.
Responsibilities
- Operate production equipment for manufacturing and assembly of electronic products
- Follow blueprints, guidelines, and diagrams to meet product specifications and tolerance levels
- Perform component level troubleshooting on electronic assemblies
- Assemble and repair electronic components using soldering techniques, both through-hole and surface mount
- Maintain documentation of work and ensure quality standards are upheld
- May lead and direct the work of others as needed
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 4-6 years of related experience in electronics assembly or manufacturing
- Proficiency in soldering, both through-hole and surface mount
- Basic understanding of analog and digital circuits
- Ability to troubleshoot component level as required
- Familiarity with manufacturing and assembly processes in electronics
- Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
- Demonstrated ability to perform the duties of this position through relevant experience, training, or education
