Talascend is currently seeking a HVAC Maintenance Supervisor for a contract opportunity with our client in Horsham, Pennsylvania.

Overview

This position involves supervising maintenance operations and providing hands-on technical expertise in HVAC, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and life safety systems to ensure efficient building operations and tenant satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and direct contractors while monitoring their assigned responsibilities and performance quality.
  • Perform maintenance service requests and preventive/predictive maintenance on HVAC, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and life safety systems.
  • Respond effectively to all building emergencies and after-hours site issues as needed.
  • Complete facility inspections and prepare technical reports on mechanical systems, identifying deficiencies and improvement recommendations.
  • Mentor junior engineering staff and provide hands-on training in maintenance and troubleshooting procedures.
  • Document work performance and materials procurement using computerized maintenance management systems.
  • Partner with engineering leads, project managers, and facility stakeholders to ensure operational alignment and system optimization.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience as senior HVAC tech, lead HVAC tech, or similar role.
  • 2+ years of people management experience managing maintenance/engineering personnel.
  • EPA section 608 universal certification.
  • Journeyman refrigeration technician's license / refrigeration technician's license.
  • Valid state driver's license that must be maintained.
  • Experience using computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) and/or building management system (BMS).
