Warehouse Associate
Talascend is currently seeking a Warehouse Associate for a contract opportunity with our client in Coppell, Texas.
Overview
This role is responsible for performing various functions including cleaning and disinfecting medical devices, inbound receiving of goods, outbound shipping, and maintaining inventory accuracy to ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
Responsibilities
- Prepare outbound shipments for internal and external customers, including boxing, palletizing, wrapping, strapping, and applying shipping labels.
- Fill inventory stocking requests and complete par level stocking of the warehouse; verify quantities, perform cycle counts, and batch reconciliations; notify inventory analyst of discrepancies.
- Move and store inventory properly, ensure good housekeeping, and segregate non-conforming inventory.
- Complete training and certifications on time and perform assigned projects as directed by management.
- Clean and disinfect medical devices to reduce bio burden.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Demonstrated ability to perform duties through relevant experience, training, or education.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly and perform walking, standing, bending, stooping, and repetitive motions for extended periods.
- Strong verbal communication skills.
- Well organized, results-oriented, and attentive to detail.
