CMM Programmer
Talascend is currently seeking a CMM Programmer for a contract opportunity with our client in Greenville, South Carolina.
Overview
The role involves generating, maintaining, and verifying CMM programs using PC-DMIS and supporting manufacturing operations through programming, validation, and process improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Generate, maintain, and verify CMM programs utilizing PC-DMIS v. 2025.1
- Program parts following standards and documented product quality plans
- Manipulate models using Siemens NX 2206/2412 as needed to support CMM programming needs
- Prove out CMM programs and validate results
- Set up, configure, and prove out machine hardware and software as needed
- Provide CMM related support to manufacturing engineers and operator training as warranted
- Provide daily operator support and problem solving to the shop
- Initiate and lead process improvement projects to enhance safety, quality, delivery, and cost related to CMM processes
- Generate and support workstation instructions for CMM related issues
- Communicate effectively with team members when needed
- Work effectively individually and in a team in a matrixed organization
- Operate effectively in a fast-paced environment and drive positive change
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in offline PC-DMIS programming (required)
- Ability to work 2nd shift a plus
