Talascend is currently seeking an Electronics Test Technician for a contract opportunity with our client in Phoenix, Arizona.

Overview

This role involves performing standard testing processes on a variety of equipment, recording and analyzing results, and ensuring testing procedures meet industry standards. The technician will utilize technical tools and equipment while applying their electronics knowledge to troubleshoot at the component level.

Responsibilities

  • Perform standard testing processes on various equipment and document the results
  • Analyze test data to identify issues and troubleshoot at the component level
  • Utilize technical tools and equipment proficiently during testing procedures
  • Ensure compliance with industry-specific tests, practices, and procedures
  • Maintain accurate records of testing activities and results
  • Work under direct supervision and manage tasks with limited experience and judgment in a creative manner when needed

Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in a related field
  • 2-4 years of experience in electronics or a related area
  • Good time management skills
  • Background in electronics and troubleshooting at the component level
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in using technical tools and equipment
  • Demonstrated ability to perform the duties of this position through relevant experience, training, or education
