Talascend is currently seeking a Industrial Systems Engineer for a contract opportunity with our client in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Overview
The Industrial Systems Engineer will play a key role in designing, implementing, and managing complex systems and test equipment solutions. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams, lead projects, and provide technical expertise in systems engineering, project management, and technical leadership within a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical skills and abilities to engineering teams, ensuring the successful execution of projects
- Become an expert in PLC integration and troubleshooting for a complex automated system
- Collaborate with stakeholders to capture and manage system requirements, ensuring they are well-defined, complete, and traceable throughout the project lifecycle
- Develop and execute test plans, analyze test results, and drive corrective actions
- Supervise a small team of 2 to 3 and manage project schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure successful project completion
Qualifications
- Experience in systems or industrial engineering
- Experience with PLCs
- Mastery of knowledge in equipment integration, implementation, and troubleshooting
- Ability to work under minimal supervision
- Demonstrated ability to perform the duties of this position through relevant experience, training, or education
