Talascend is currently seeking a Facilities Operations Manager for a contract opportunity with our client in Lexington, Kentucky.
Overview
This role involves overseeing facilities management operations, ensuring compliance, and leading teams across multiple sites to deliver quality healthcare facility services. The manager will act as the single point of contact for facility management and support the Regional Manager and Account Director in service delivery.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and direct the plant operations team, ensuring efficient performance of maintenance, financial, CMMS, safety, and regulatory compliance programs.
- Make decisions based on a thorough understanding of procedures, policies, and business practices.
- Maintain knowledge and ensure compliance with the master services agreement and relevant amendments.
- Manage operational budgets and ensure financial performance adheres to established budgets.
- Track trends and recommend actions regarding KPI/SLA performance related to plant operations and engineering services.
- Oversee and support maintenance, project execution, and vendor activities supporting critical operations.
- Ensure staff training in proper facility maintenance practices and create a safe work environment by enforcing safety and infection control policies.
- Ensure all building systems and equipment are maintained according to state, federal, and local regulations.
- Determine compliance with standards such as NFPA101 Life Safety Code, safety, security, hazardous materials management, and waste management.
Qualifications
- Five or more years of experience in facility management, plant operations, engineering, or maintenance supervision.
- Proven managerial experience with budget and personnel responsibilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office and MS SharePoint.
- Experience with CMMS/work order systems.
- Demonstrated ability to perform the duties of this position through relevant experience, training, or education.
